Zac Baker won 2nd place in the standing long jump. He’s one of two dozen local athletes who recently competed in the Georgia Recreation & Park Association Hall of Fame State Track & Field Championships.
Many kids participated in the State Track and Field Meet, and several took home medals and finished well at the state level. The 2017 GRPA Hall of Fame State Track & Field Championships were held at Lucy Laney HS Stadium in Augusta for Class A & BC. Habersham County Rec Department resides in class BC.
