Tucked in the pages of a recent People magazine – the one with media mogul Tyler Perry on the front – is a photo from Cornelia.
It shows the drive-by birthday party that was held for Tenley Henson on Saturday, May 1st at Cornelia City Park.
Daniel Purcell captured the colorful, coronavirus-inspired celebration in a series of photos. One of them captured the eye of Florence Nash who works for the popular weekly magazine. She reached out to Now Habersham for permission to reprint the photo and we gladly agreed.
The picture was published in a feature called “100 Reasons to Love America.”
