(Cleveland)- A White County doctor has been arrested for practicing without a license.
On Tuesday the White County Sheriff’s Office along with Helen Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant at 8065 South Main Street in Helen, the location of a newly opened business for Doctors Ronald Wheeler and Ben Johnson.
White County Sheriff’s Office Captain Rick Kelley says during the execution of the search warrant, Dr. Wheeler was taken into custody by the White County Sheriff’s Office and has been charged with Practicing Medicine without a valid License in the state of Georgia.
Captain Rick Kelley says Wheeler posted bond Wednesday morning.
If there are patients that have seen or were treated by Dr. Wheeler since he has been in White County, you are asked to contact Capt. Kelley at 706-865- 5177.
Kelley says the investigation is active and ongoing.
