(Cleveland )- Two structure fire, that were believed to be the result of lightning strikes, were reported in White County Wednesday.
White County Public Safety spokeswoman Ana Newberry said via email, the first call was to 733 Albert Reid Road and was reported at 11:39 AM.
Newberry said the caller advised their barn was hit by lightning and was fully involved. Upon arrival, Newberry said, they found the barn ablaze. She said there were no animals inside, but there were antique tractors and several bales of hay stored inside.
Stations 2, 5, 6 and City of Cleveland responded. According to Newberry, no injuries were reported.
The barn and contents were a total loss.
Firefighters were on scene for approximately 3 ½ hours.

The second blaze was reported at 12:33 PM at a residence.
Newberry said the homeowner advised that lightning had struck their house. Stations 2, 3, & 4 were dispatched. Upon arrival,firefighters affirmed lightning did strike the house and blew out the power breaker panel.
Newberry said, firefighters removed parts of the ceiling in order to extinguish the insulation that was burning. According to Newberry, the lightning appears to have hit the front porch light and traveled through the electrical wires, ending in the breaker panel.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were on scene for approximately 2 hours.
