Life in Motion: Tavarres King back home in the ‘Sham

NY Giants WR Tavarres King, a former Habersham Central and UGA star football player, took in a pair of Habersham basketball games Tuesday night.

Former Habersham Central star athlete Tavarres King was spotted in Habersham Tuesday sitting courtside at his alma mater. King chatted it up with students during the Raider’s Varsity basketball games against Winder.

King graduated from Central in 2007. He went on to play for UGA before entering the big leagues. King was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2013. He played for the Broncos, the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being added to the Giants roster as a wide receiver last fall.

King caught his first career NFL touchdown pass in the Giants’ first round loss of the playoffs on January 8.
