On Saturday, September 4, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Cornelia Police Department, and Georgia Department of Community Supervision teamed up for a car seat check-up. Community partners Safe Kids Northeast Georgia, MedLink, and Ms. Emily Linz assisted them.
Over the course of four hours, they gave out 87 free car seats and taught parents how to install them. They made a lot of moms and dads happy and a lot of kids safer.
