Life in Motion: A Superhero Christmas surprise


Local superheroes gave sick kids in the Upstate an unforgettable Christmas surprise. Heroes in Force swooped in on Dec. 23 to visit with patients at AnMed Health Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Anderson.

Batman, Wonder Woman, and Spiderman delivered stockings to the kids and gave them, and their parents, something to smile about.

This is the fifth year AnMed has invited Heroes in Force to visit patients at Christmastime. Spiderman, aka Rylan Pugh, tells Now Habersham they’re grateful for the opportunity to return year after year.

“It is always a blessing and a joy to be able to deliver these children stockings full of donated goodies from the community,” he says. “We hope we have made an impact on these incredible children, as they have impacted us greatly. They are the TRUE heroes!”
