Katie Richins’ friends and family gathered today for her funeral. The 19-year-old from Cornelia died Friday as a result of injuries she suffered in a car wreck on August 17.
Those who knew Katie say she was kind, compassionate, and generous. She stayed true to her nature even in death. Katie was an organ donor and dozens of lives will be saved and enhanced because of it.
