Award winning country music artist and hometown favorite Kimberly Schlapman is a mom again. Schlapman and her husband Stephen adopted a baby girl named Dolly.
Dolly joins big sis Daisy.
The news came as a surprise to Schlapman’s fans since the country star had not publicly revealed her plans to adopt. The 47-year-old singer posted a picture of Dolly Grace on Twitter.

Schlapman is part of the Grammy-winning country quartet along with Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook. Little Big Town’s hits include “Pontoon” and “Girl Crush.” The Cornelia native is a 1987 graduate of Habersham Central High School. She was the first person inducted into the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in 2013.
