Zanoria Echols celebrates after earning a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree. Echols was a Woodrow Wilson Georgia Teaching Fellow and is from Olive Branch, Mississippi. She did her clinical work at Monroe Area High School and will be teaching this year at Carver Middle School in Monroe County.
She was among 273 Piedmont College students who graduated on Saturday, July 21.
President James F. Mellichamp and Board of Trustees Chairman Thomas A. “Gus” Arrendale III presented diplomas to students. Commencement speaker The Honorable William S. Duffey, Jr., who recently retired as one of 14 federal judges on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.
