Seaman Charlsie Maddox, from Helen, is currently serving aboard the USS Nimitz in the Pacific Ocean conducting routine operations.
Maddox is a 2017 graduate of White County High School. She joined the military in 2018. She is the daughter of Brent and Jodi Maddox of Helen.
