Lesa Deanne Cantrell Champion, age 51 of Baldwin, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
Born in Demorest, Georgia on July 10, 1968, to Hershel “Junior” Cantrell, Jr. of Cornelia and the late Leila Wilbanks McDowell. Lesa was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a fun-loving personality and a smile that would light up a room and affectionately known by her husband as “Ellie”. Lesa was a member of Free Chapel and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Champion of Baldwin, son, Joshua L. Champion of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Kara & Lee Huntley, IV of Oakwood; grandson, Lee Huntly, V; father and spouse, Junior & Lynne Cantrell of Cornelia; brother, Greg Cantrell; sister, Amy Cantrell.
Visitation services are scheduled for 4-8 pm, Saturday, December 21, 2019, at McGahee-Griffin and Stewart funeral home.
