Lanell Hubbard Headen, 88, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Born on November 22, 1935, in Homer, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Clara Scales Hubbard. Mrs. Headen was a resident of Cedartown for the past 49 years. She was a seamstress and homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as a loving mother, who displayed her love for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Hubbard; twin brother, Lanier Hubbard; brother, J.M. Hubbard; sister, Betty Motes Simmons; great-great-granddaughter, Chloe Jean Moon.
Survivors include sons Donald Hubbard of Cedartown, Jimmy Headen of New York, and Faron Headen of Cedartown; daughters and son-in-law, Gloria Jean Wells (Walt) of Cedartown, and Robbie June Austin of Calhoun; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, David Hubbard (Raylene) of Cumming; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Pritchett officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
