Habersham Central senior basketball and volleyball star Lainey Gosnell has made her previous verbal commitment to Appalachian State University official by signing.
Gosnell will continue her basketball career at the next level as a Mountaineer in Boone, North Carolina. The senior forward just wrapped up her volleyball season, which was capped by a Sweet 16 appearance in Class 6A. She’ll look to have just as much, or more, success on the hardwood this season.
Gosnell is a sure double-double essentially every night on the court, averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per game last year as a junior. The Lady Raiders are already 1-0 to start the season. Gosnell has long since eclipsed 1,000 career points at Habersham Central.
