Kilee Thomas is enjoying a breakout sophomore season for the Lady Raiders. It’s hard to find a spot that she doesn’t succeed in.
Consider for a moment that she has done a stellar job in the circle, at the plate as a leadoff hitter and as a catcher when not pitching.
Thomas has gone 3-1 with a 2.00 ERA in 27 innings of work this season, striking out 13 batters. Behind the plate, she’s caught 55 innings, throwing out a couple of baserunners and picking one off.
To top it off, Thomas at the plate has done a stellar job at setting the table for the rest of the lineup, batting .298 with three RBI and 12 runs scored. Her OBP sits at a solid .340.
More recently, Thomas pitched a shutout against Stephens County, dueling with Clemson commit and one-time BLITZ Player of the Year Emma Whitfield. Thomas then got a huge region win in a 4-2 victory over Apalachee.
