Khamphaeng Tiamtisack, age 88, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.
Mr. Tiamtisack was born on August 5, 1926 in Laos to the late Tiam and Thongdam Tiamtisack. He was affiliated with Wat Lao Budda Satha Tham Temple and a member of Habersham Lao Association. He was a retired machine operator with Mount Vernon Mills with 16 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mone Tiamtisack, of Demorest; sons, Chanthaphone Tiamtisack, of Demorest; Bounpone Tiamtisack, of Gainesville; Keoaudone Tiamtisack, of Atlanta; Souksakhone Tiamtisack, of Cornelia; Phonephiloun Tiamtisack, of Mt. Airy; Khamla Tiamtisack, of Atlanta; sister, Khampa Souksakhone, of Laos; brother, Phimpa Thammavongsk, of Mt. Airy.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Habersham Temple Lao Monks officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2015.
