Kevin Lee Wade, 51, of Alto, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Born on November 25, 1972, in Demorest, he was a son of Brenda Ramey Wade of Alto and the late T. Lee Wade. Mr. Wade worked in construction, was a master carpenter, and was known as a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed helping others and would stop at nothing to do so. Kevin was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Cynthia Wade and Autumn Wade; grandson, Lincoln Burgess; brother, Jason Wade; and sister, Kim Wade.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 33 years, Amanda Ledford Wade of Alto; sons Kirby Wade (Hannah Brown) and Brantley Wade of Alto; daughter Jessica Burgess of Alto; grandchildren Destiny Wade, Hunter Wade, Charlie Wade, Easton Thacker, and Hudson Burgess; sister and brother-in-law Rebecca Mooney (Timothy) of Alto; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart, with Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm at the funeral home on Friday, March 29, 2024.
