According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, Singletary was operating the kennel under the name Southeast Welfare Animal Service at 1158 Knox Bridge Crossing Road. The location was licensed through the Georgia Department of Agriculture, but officials say that license was recently revoked.

According to officials, numerous dogs were on the property. Deputies and animal control personnel began removing them Thursday night, August 15, with help from a local veterinarian’s office.

At this time, the sheriff’s office says all of the dogs have been removed except for three of Singletary’s personal pets.

Her arrest follows an investigation by the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, Hart County Animal Control, and the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Authorities say the case is still under investigation.
