Governor Brian Kemp has renewed Georgia’s Public Health State Of Emergency and extended statewide COVID restrictions.
On Friday, Kemp signed an Executive Order renewing the state of emergency through April 6. He signed a separate order extending COVID restrictions through March 15 with minor changes.
Changes in COVID restrictions include updated quarantine protocol to reflect the latest CDC guidance for those who have been fully vaccinated or recently recovered from COVID-19. The order also clarifies that any establishment that can be considered both a bar and live performance venue should adhere to the guidance for bars laid out in the Executive Order. And it creates a definition for “organization.”
