(Cleveland)- The water main break over the weekend that resulted in a large section of the west side of Cleveland being placed under a boil water notice is believed to have been caused by some youth throwing large rocks at a water pipe.
Cleveland Police Chief John Foster said Monday night “We located some juveniles this afternoon that were involved. Right now we are still gathering information but we do know who is involved.”
The break was on Campbell Street at Head Street and according to Chief John Foster, a witness saw the youth throwing the rocks. Foster said they are not sure how many juveniles were involved but the investigation is continuing.
