Julep Farms prepares to open new restaurant in Dillard

Chef Paul Cernansky

Another restaurant will soon be opening in Dillard and the owners have appointed the chef who will lead it.

Rick and Lauren Weaver, owners of the new modern farm destination Julep Farms, announce the appointment of Paul Cernansky as The Social House Executive Chef.

A native of Pittsburgh, Chef Paul has traveled widely in the United States and abroad, perfecting his technique and learning different cuisines, according to the Weavers. He has a varied background in hotels and restaurants, notably as an Executive Chef of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.

Chef Paul has become an ardent supporter of sustainable and local food and searches out local vendors whenever he can. He also maintains a large backyard garden to supply his family with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

“Coming to Julep Farms, where we can grow beautiful fresh herbs and vegetables to supply our table is a dream come true,” he says, “ I can’t wait to dive in.” Chef Paul and his wife Kristine have been married 22 years and have two children.

As the Executive Chef at Julep Farms, Cernansky will oversee operations at the main restaurant, Julep Kitchen, in addition to the event kitchen.

Julep Farms is anticipating a mid-October opening of The Social House, which will house their restaurant and bar “Julep Kitchen”, a retail store called “The Market”, event rooms, and a coffee bar.
