Jorge Hernandez, age 52 of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 04, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Cherán Michoacán, Mexico on February 19, 1969, he was a son of the Susana Huaroco Garcia of Mexico & the late Luis Hernandez Rojas. Mr. Hernandez was a dedicated maintenance worker with Fieldale Farms Corporation with over 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed listening to music, gardening, & spending time with his family. Mr. Hernandez was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Petronila Jimenez Bacilio, children, Jorge Luis Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Georgina Patricia Hernandez, & Cindy Hernandez all of Mt. Airy, GA; brother Salvador Hernandez of Mexico; sisters, Maria Hernandez Herrera of Cornelia, GA; Rosa Hernandez Guerreo of North Carolina; Veronica Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Paulina Hernandez, all of Mexico; 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 06, 2021 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and again from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
