Country music artist and Habersham County native, John King, is preparing for his Grand Ole Opry debut. King will perform live at the Opry on September 27, 2014.

King grew up in Demorest. He graduated from Habersham Central High School and earned a degree in music from the University of Georgia. In 2013 he signed as an artist with Black River Entertainment in Nashville.
