Jean Canfield Loggins, age 80 of Cornelia, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
Born in Sutton, West Virginia on January 17, 1939 to the late Raymond and Dorothy Harris Canfield. Mrs. Loggins retired from the Business Administration office at Habersham County Medical Center after many years of service. She volunteered for meals on wheels for 8 years and was dedicated to her church and served in many capacities. Mrs. Loggins was a Charter Member at Good News Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Reynold Loggins of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Alan & Angelia Baker of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Pam & Chip Brooks of Clarkesville; step-son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Becky Loggins of Flowery Branch; grandchildren and spouses, Chris & Brooklyn Baker, Kaylee Baker, Zac Baker, Jake & Courtney Brooks, Jared & Bekah Brooks, Veronika Brooks, Emily Loggins, Abby Loggins & Tom Loggins; brother, George Canfield of Sutton, West Virginia; sisters, Phyllis McTheny of Lenexa, Virginia and Beckie Tharpe of Statesville, North Carolina.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm, Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Austin Kelley and Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
