James Harvey Adams, age 91, formerly of Clarkesville passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2020.
Born on May 10, 1928, in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia to the late Luther Adams and Lassie Welborn Adams. He has been residing in Daytona Beach, FL for the last 5 years. He was retired from the State of Georgia Agriculture Dept. with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a long-time member of Ebenezer Methodist Church in Hollywood, Georgia.
James is survived by children, Gail Adams Parker and husband Glenn of Daytona Beach, FL; Michael Adams of Cornelia, GA; Sheila Adams McCracken of Tampa, FL; sister, Reba Childers; brother, Branson Adams; grandchildren, Daniel Gunn and wife Jan; Cannie Adams; Kelsey McCracken; Lannie Adams Holliday and husband Ritchie; great-grandchildren, Celeste Gunn, Griffin Gunn, and Dexter Holliday.
