The TFS bass fishing team was out on the water on March 26, competing at the Lake Oconee – Sugar Creek tournament. One Tallulah Falls duo finished 20th at the high school level, while another came in 12th at the middle school level.
The team of freshmen Haygen James and Koen Eller finished 20th overall, reeling in 4 catches for a total of 9.49 pounds. TFS was competing against 142 other teams.
Meanwhile, the middle school tandem of DJ Broome and Jack Thomson captured a 12th-place finish, catching a pair of bass worth 5.11 pounds, as they went against 66 other teams.
The bass fishing team returns to the water on April 16 on Lake Lanier at Laurel Park for the regular season’s final tournament.
