Tips from the public led to three arrests and a fourth suspect being identified in a string of thefts in Habersham County.
The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office says Oletta Griffin was arrested and warrants have been issued for Damond Cantrell in connection with several thefts at Dollar General Stores in the county.

In an unrelated incident, Misty and Williams Midgett, both of White County, were arrested in connection with a theft on August 5 at the Habersham County Airport. Investigators say the two entered airport property and stole money from a vehicle that was parked there.
The suspects were arrested after investigators posted surveillance photos of them on the sheriff’s Facebook page.
Investigators thanked citizens “for all the tips and updates.”
