BOYS

The Indians took on Walhalla on Tuesday evening on the road and secured a 30-point win to close out calendar year 2022.

TFS won 66-36, and were led by four players in double figures. Anfernee Hanna had a team-best 13 points, while Diego Crotta added 12. Kyrstian Jankiewicz and Zakhar Valasiuk both chipped in with 11 points apiece.

The #5-ranked Indians are now 10-2 overall and have won three straight games.

Meanwhile, the JV Indians saw their seven-game win streak come to a close in a 45-35 defeat.

TFS was missing four players, including a pair of starters, and struggled to find the team’s usual rhythm. However, sophomore Teryk Tilley played well on both sides of the court and had a season-high in points (14) and rebounds (12) as part of a stellar double-double effort.

Jay Taylor had 11 points with a trio of 3-pointers. Hayden Bootle collected 8 points and five rebounds, while Wyatt Franks had 2 points as well.

The JV boys are now 7-1 overall.
