Political party ballot questions gauge voters’ priorities

In addition to nominating candidates to run in the November election, Georgia’s primary voters also answered party questions. There were six questions on the Democratic ballot and three on the Republican ballot.

While the votes are non-binding, they give party leaders a way to gauge voters’ opinions and priorities.
