Clarkesville Economic Development Director Mary Beth Horton has been selected to serve on the Georgia Downtown Association Board of Directors. Horton will fill an unexpired term for the remainder of 2018. She’ll then as the Region 2 representative.
In making the announcement, GDA said, “This selection stems from the success that Horton has had in Clarkesville and her dedication to the success of downtown. The Georgia Downtown Association is happy to have her join and knows that 2018 will be a great year.”
Horton also was recently named to the Leadership Georgia Class of 2018.
The Georgia Downtown Association is a non-profit association that promotes the economic redevelopment of Georgia’s traditional downtowns.
