Paralympic champion McKenzie Coan will be honored with a homecoming celebration on Friday (September 23) in the Paul Anderson Park in Toccoa.
Coan earned three gold medals in swimming competition (50 meter freestyle, 100 meter freestyle & 400 meter freestyle) and one silver medal (4 x 100 meter freestyle relay).
The public is invited to the celebration at 1 p.m. Paul Anderson Park is located at 626 East Tugalo Street in downtown Toccoa.
Toccoa Clinic is the event sponsor. McKenzie’s dad, Dr. Marc Coan, practices internal medicine with Toccoa Clinic.
