Harvard, the 5-year-old Retriever Mix, has been patiently waiting for his forever home at the shelter for 214 days, and he’s ready to find his perfect match.

This handsome 80-pound boy was brought in as a requested stray pick-up back in July, and despite his charming personality, he’s yet to capture someone’s heart.

What truly sets Harvard apart is his love for puppies and smaller dogs. There’s something magical about the way he interacts with them—his patience, his playfulness, and the genuine joy that lights up his eyes.

If you have a furry friend at home or are considering expanding your family, Harvard might be the missing piece. But no kitties or small children for this handsome guy, please.

Harvard, being the intelligent boy that he is, is currently working on refining his manners. He’s a quick learner, especially when there’s a treat involved. Harvard is the perfect candidate for continued training and bonding.

Unwavering spirit

As the days turn into months, Harvard’s resilient spirit remains unwavering. He’s a testament to the enduring love and loyalty that dogs offer, regardless of the time spent in the shelter. Now, he’s eagerly waiting for that special person or family who will see beyond the days and into the lifetime of love they can share.

Harvard is neutered and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, and he is ready to join your family today!
