Hearing on motion to dismiss animal cruelty case set for next week

(Now Habersham)

A final hearing on a motion to dismiss animal cruelty charges against a Clarkesville couple is scheduled to take place next week. Charles and Teresa Bramblett are each charged with 34o counts of animal cruelty and one count each of possessing a game animal without a permit.

The couple are scheduled to appear in State Court in Habersham County on Wednesday, November 29, before Judge Steve Campbell.

The Brambletts were arrested and charged back in April with running an alleged puppy mill. More than 400 animals were seized from their property off of Highway 115 just west of Clarkesville.
