As the summer continues to heat up, so does Habersham County Little League action.
Brackets for the Junior League All-Stars and 11/12 Baseball All-Stars, as well as 11/12 Girls Softball All-Stars, have been released. The baseball district games will be hosted by Hart County, while the softball district games are hosted by Toccoa Little League.
The Junior League All-Stars takes on host Hart County in its opener on July 9 at 1:30 p.m. Franklin and Toccoa also square off in the double-elimination bracket. Should Habersham advance to the championship, they will play in that game on July 13.
11/12 All-Stars also play July 9 at 1:30 p.m., taking on Toccoa in their first game. Should they play in the championship for district, they’ll play July 14. Softball All-Stars play July 2 against the winner of Madison/Hart and could be playing until July 8 if they continue to win.
A pair of All-Star groups already opened their district tournament Saturday, June 25, with the 9/10 All-Stars taking an 11-1 win in their opener over Rabun, while the 10/11 group fell 5-4 to Toccoa in the first game.
