In March, just after COVID-19 caused shut-downs and closures, the Habersham Christian Learning Center (HCLC) had to quickly change the format of their annual meeting from in-person to virtual. Executive Director Sarah Harrison explains that while “the meeting annual went on as planned, the annual thank-you dinner for supporters did not.” HCLC has plans now to make that dinner happen safely and without risk.

HCLC will provide Drive Thru Dinner on October 8, 2020 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All are invited to drive thru and pick up dinner. There is no cost for the event but donations are accepted. The menu includes: baked chicken donated by Chosewood Farms, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a baked good for dessert. The first 20 guests will receive HCLC 40th anniversary t-shirts.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (706) 778-5483 or through FaceBook. The deadline for making reservations is September 30, 2020.

Habersham Christian Learning Center is located at 188 HCLC Drive in Mount Airy. The school works in partnership with local high school and teaches Christian ethics, morals, and values to high school students during their school day by sharing God’s truths in love for passion and purpose throughout life.
