Habersham Central High School senior Brooke Benfield (left) has been named valedictorian for the Class of 2017. Kendall Barclay is this year’s salutatorian.
Benfield finishes out her high school career with a 101.156 Grade Point Average. Barclay earned a 100.843 GPA.
High school principal Wes McGee congratulated the young women on their achievements on social media.
The last day of school is May 26. Graduation is scheduled that evening at 8 at Raider Stadium. The rain date is May 27 at 9 a.m.
