Hawg Wild BBQ in Clarkesville is set to reopen this afternoon after being temporarily shut down due to a fire. Employees say a clothes dryer used to wash restaurant linens caught fire Thursday morning and caused smoke damage. Public health and safety inspectors checked out the facility Friday. As of 12 noon, management said they were waiting on one more “walk through” before getting the final go ahead to reopen.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the restaurant plans to reopen between 3 and 4 p.m. Friday, August 7th.
