Hall County to offer Government Scholars’ Academy

Hall County Government Building (Hall County)

Registration for the Hall County Government Scholars’ Academy is set to open on Jan. 27.

The nine-session course will offer an in-depth look at the various aspects of Hall County government, according to officials, including behind-the-scenes tours of many county facilities.

“The Government Scholars’ Academy is a fantastic opportunity for anyone living in Hall County who wants to learn more about how their local government operates,” said Hall County Administrator Zach Propes. “Participants will not only get a firsthand view of government processes but also see how their tax dollars are working to serve the community.”

The program is free of charge, though space is limited.

Registration opens Monday, January 27 at 10 a.m. and closes Friday, February 28 at 5 p.m. The registration form and syllabus will be available online at hallcounty.org/789/Government-Scholars-Academy.
