Hall County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have released the names of the three people killed in a plane crash Friday evening in Hall County. The victims include Gainesville residents Dan Delnoce, 44, and Courtney Flanders, 45. The crash also killed Matthew Delnoce, 39, of Ohio.

Their bodies have been transported to the GBI Crime Lab for autopsy.

All three victims were on board a Cessna 182 bound for Daytona that went down shortly after 6 p.m. on February 26. The single-engine four-seater crashed into a ravine just north of Memorial Park Drive, about two miles southwest of Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport.

The plane crash was reported by a passing motorist who spotted debris on the road and called 911, officials said.

The crash displaced four adults and one child on the ground who had to leave their home because fuel fell on it and a piece of the wing plunged into a bedroom. Hall County Fire spokesperson Zach Brackett told reporters the residents were home at the time eating dinner but were unharmed.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
