An autopsy has confirmed the identity of the man killed in a Hall County house fire last week as 52-year-old Patricio Villalobos-Morales.

The early morning fire broke out on March 30 at a house in the 1500 block of Odell Street off Jesse Jewell Parkway. According to Hall County Fire Services, when firefighters arrived, the home was fully involved. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Upon entering the residence, firefighters discovered the body of an adult man, later identified as Villalobos-Morales. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say they do not believe he owned the residence, but he was living there at the time of the fire.

Investigators could not rule out smoking or electrical issues as possible causes of the fire. The Hall County Fire Marshal ruled it was accidental.
