Hall County honors Kubota leader with education award

Phil Sutton, Vice President of Kubota Manufacturing of America Corporation, has been awarded the prestigious Pioneer in Education Award for 2024 by the Hall County School District. The award recognizes Sutton’s significant and positive contributions to students and education throughout the district.

Presented annually by Pioneer RESA (Regional Educational Service Agency), the award honors individuals in 15 school districts for their commitment to fostering educational opportunities and supporting student development. Sutton was recognized for his leadership in partnering with the Hall County School District, providing resources, internship programs, and collaborative projects that prepare students for career success.

“Phil Sutton’s dedication to our schools and students is both inspiring and transformational,” said Superintendent Will Schofield. “His influence extends beyond our classrooms and into the future of our community. This recognition is well-deserved, and we are honored to celebrate his contributions.”

Sutton expressed his gratitude, stating, “It is an honor and truly humbling to be named a Pioneer in Education today. Helping young people achieve their dreams has become a passion for me, and I am so proud to be a part of the Work Based Learning Community.”
