Hall County firefighters save house from burning

Quick action by Hall County firefighters kept a house from burning last Monday night.

On February 13, around 11:15 p.m., Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) units were dispatched to a report of a single family residential fire in the 4000 block of Oliver Road.

“There was a working fire on the left side of the porch with extension up the side of the home,” says HCFR spokesperson Kimberlie Ledsinger.

Crews quickly extinguished the bulk of the fire and prevented the flames from spreading into the residence.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
