Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia’s newest homeowner signed paperwork on Friday, January 20, for her family’s forever home.
Lisa Thomas celebrated the closing with Habitat for Humanity of NEGA Executive Director Nanette Baughman and attorney Chad Knott.
“This is just another way our local Habitat puts mission into action; building hope, one home at a time,” says Baughman.
This is the 74th house that the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity has built. The nonprofit has already broken ground for houses 75 and 76.
Habitat will hold a new home dedication ceremony for Thomas and her family on Sunday.
