Congratulations to Habersham’s JV Academic Bowl team for their recent win over Stephens County.
The Academic Bowl team consists of students from Habersham Central and Habersham Ninth Grade Academy. The team is coached by HNGA’s math teacher, Hannah Blalock, and science teacher, Preston Kitchings.
The JV Academic Bowl team has been competing for three years and has seen success since. Last year, the team was ranked No. 2 in the region and was invited to participate in the national competition.
The Academic Bowl team answers trivia questions over a wide range of academic and pop culture topics as well as current events.
