Habersham voters to decide key local races as early voting begins

Early voting is now underway and Habersham County voters are going to the polls to decide a number of local races and referendums. A new ESPLOST, two county commission seats, three board of education seats, a City of Clarkesville council seat and Mt. Airy’s Sunday sales liquor referendum are on the ballot. In addition, voters will help settle hotly-contested party primaries at the state and federal levels.

Habersham voters wanting to cast ballots ahead of the May 24 general primary will have to head to Clarkesville to do so. The Habersham North Precinct at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center is the only precinct that will be open for early and advance voting.

Monday-Friday
8am-5pm

Saturday voting
May 7 & 14
9am-5pm

Advance voting
May 16-20
Monday-Friday
8am-7pm
