The Habersham County Middle School Girls Cross Country team brought home the 2nd place trophy from their regional meet Sept. 25 in Elberton.
The girls placed 2nd out of 7 teams in a field of around 87 runners. Habersham had 42 points. Hart County placed first with 30 points (lowest points wins).
Coach Laura Diehl says, “They have practiced hard all season. They ran their hearts out and I am so proud of them.”

Abigail Hotard got 2nd overall with a time of 14.32
Audrey Hotard got 3rd overall with a time of 14.34
Leah Culpepper was 7th overall with a time of 15.15
Grace Dooley was 14th with at time of15.47
Ansley Means was 16th with a time of 16.00
