Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Habersham County Parks and Recreation suspended its current programs and closed some facilities. Rec league seasons have not been canceled.
On March 16, the Recreation Department issued the following list of expected restart dates and closures. This information is subject to change. Check back here for future updates.
Parks and Recreation Operated Programs:
- Spring Basketball postponed until April 6
- Volleyball postponed until April 6
- Track & Field postponed until April 4
- Habersham County Gymnastics until April 6
Habersham County Associations:
- Habersham County Little League is postponing until March 30
- Rapids Futbol Club is postponed until April 30
- Habersham County Church League Softball schedule is being delayed until March 30
Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center:
Pools and Gymnasiums are now closed to the public. All rentals and/or activities that are scheduled before March 30 will be canceled and given the opportunity to reschedule or refund.
At this time, normal facility operating hours will be observed.
The recommendation to patrons is to stay at home. However, we will allow the utilization of the facility at your own risk.
Habersham County Gymnastics Center:
At this time, operating hours to the public will be 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The recommendation to patrons is to stay at home. However, we will allow the utilization of the facility at your own risk.
