Middle school Raiders crowd out competition, claim top spots in region
Habersham’s middle school basketball teams crowded out the competition in region play Thursday. The 7th Grade Raider Girls won first place in the Northeast Georgia Mountain League tournament in Union County. The win capped off an undefeated season for the team.
The 8th Grade Raider Boys placed first in their tournament in Lumpkin County. The boys beat Rabun County by a score of 55-33. They finished the season with a 13-1 record.
The 8th Grade Raider Girls and 7th Grade Raider Boys both placed second in their region tournaments.
