Habersham GOP Schedules Meet and Greet with Candidates

The Habersham County Republican Party will host a Meet and Greet with candidates during its next regularly scheduled meeting on April 12, 2016. The event will take place at the Community House in Cornelia from 6:30-8 p.m.

“The members and Executive Committee of the HCRP cordially invites all Republicans in Habersham County to join us in meeting the candidates running to represent them and Habersham County,” states Chairman Carl Blackburn. Blackburn says non-party members may attend as guests.

Thirty-six Republican candidates in local, state and federal races are expected to attend. They include candidates for Habersham County Sheriff, Solicitor, Chief Magistrate, Tax Commissioner, Clerk of Superior Court, Probate Judge, Coroner, County Commissioner District 1, 4 and 5 and Board of Education District 1 and 2, Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney, GA House District 10 and 28, GA Senate District 50, and US 9th Congressional District along with the non-partisan offices of State Court Judge and Mountain Judicial Circuit Judge.
