Habersham deputies search for missing man after car found

Deputies in Habersham County are on the lookout for a man missing since Saturday.

Friends say 43-year-old Jason Kelley was last seen at 6 p.m. on September 12 at his home on Alec Mountain Road. Deputies later found his abandoned vehicle on Low Gap Road near New Liberty Road in Clarkesville.

Authorities posted an outlook for him on Monday. The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office says Kelley is known to frequent the area of Low Gap Road but they have been unable to locate him so far.

Kelley is five feet ten inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a pair of ripped black pants, a green t-shirt with a whale design, and flip-flops.
